First stop:

Located in the historic Broadway building in the heart of the brew district, 612Brew is the quintessential Minneapolis brewery. The taproom has a seating capacity of 70, plus the gorgeous outdoor patio. A giant Adam Turman mural is their signature sign; Marvel is while you sip on Six American pale ale, Gateway Park Lager or Unrated Rye IPA.

Second stop:

Located on Central Avenue, in a building they share with a German-style bread bakery, Fair State Brewing Cooperative is the third cooperative brewery in the U.S., and the first of its kind in Minnesota. Beer selection includes Hoplager, a hop-forward lager; IPA; Schwarbier, a black German lager; Session Stout and special seasonal beers.

Third stop:

If you are looking for a truly unique experience, Sociable Cider Werks is the place to visit: they brew a special style of cider called an apple graff that blends fresh pressed apples, hops and malted grains. Their taproom overlooks Northeast Minneapolis and includes an outdoor area with a bocce court that is just perfect for summer evenings. Sociable Cider Werks also brews a rotating selection of nano batch beers that are, just like their ciders, available only in its taproom.

Drop-off:

The drop-off point is same as the pick-up point, parking lot of Sociable Cider Werks.

How much beer am I getting, again?

Our public tours are all-inclusive. You can get as much, or as little beer as your palate craves. Bonus: you can bring your own beer too! Because we support craft breweries, we insist you only bring craft beer on the bus. For example: Surly, Lagunitas, Lift Bridge = Good! Coors, Bud, Miller = Bad.

First Stop:

Housed in a 7500 square feet of warehouse space, Bent Brewstillery is Minnesota’s first-ever brewstillery, making both craft beer and distill spirits, namely whiskey. Their most popular beer is Nordic Blonde, a pale ale mixed with a blonde ale. If you're into spirits, we recommend Kursed single malt whiskey, distilled from a mash of cherrywood- and oak-smoked malts.

Second stop:

From home brewing operation, to 780 square foot brewery, to a 7,400 square foot warehouse - NorthGate brewers have done well for themselves. You can order a pint at the bar, poured from two classic, stainless steel tap towers, and find a seat in a booth or at one of the dark colored low-top tables that give the taproom a distinct English pub atmosphere. Try Parapet, their English Pale Ale or Maggie's Leap, their take on the traditional English Sweet Stout.

Third stop:

A former light bulb factory is a new home to Able Seedhouse + Brewery, a Northeast Minneapolis brewery that not only makes craft beer, but also malts locally-sourced grains in-house. The brewery has a 20-barrel brewing system, a 2,000-square-foot taproom with about 150 seats, and a 1,200-square-foot patio area.

Drop-off:

Third stop:

Located in South Minneapolis, Wild Mind Artisan Ales specializes in wild, sour, farmhouse, saison, and rustic ales. All of their beers are brewed in the manner of traditional Belgian breweries, but with wild Minnesota yeast cultured from around the state by head brewer Matt Wadell. In addition to the unique beers, you are going to love the large beer garden, custom-designed picnic tables and artwork from local artists.

Located in the heart of North Loop, Modist Brewing is housed inside an old Morton's Salt factory, which gives its taproom a cool, minimalist feel. The brewers use custom made, state-of-the-art equipment to create unique beers that focus on flavor, instead of category. You will not find IPAs or porters listed on the menu. Instead, there are exciting new beers such as Toats (a clean, citrus ale) and everybody’s new favorite, Smoove ( caramel & sea salt lager).

Third stop:

One of the latest and most exciting additons to Northeast Minneapolis brew scene is definitely Bauhaus Brew Labs. They specialize in German-influenced beers with an American craft twist - think Pilsner and Lager, with a dash of IPA. You can listen to bands and play trivia in their colorful taproom and bier garten 4 days a week. Bonus: you can bring your dog too!
