First Stop:

If you are looking for a truly unique experience, Sociable Cider Werks is the place to visit: they brew a special style of cider called an apple graff that blends fresh pressed apples, hops and malted grains. Their taproom overlooks Northeast Minneapolis and includes an outdoor area with a bocce court that is just perfect for summer evenings. Sociable Cider Werks also brews a rotating selection of nano batch beers that are, just like their ciders, available only in its taproom.

Second stop:

Located on Central Avenue, in a building they share with a German-style bread bakery, Fair State Brewing Cooperative is the third cooperative brewery in the U.S., and the first of its kind in Minnesota. Beer selection includes Hoplager, a hop-forward lager; IPA; Schwarbier, a black German lager; Session Stout and special seasonal beers.

Third stop:

A former light bulb factory is a new home to Able Seedhouse + Brewery, a Northeast Minneapolis brewery that not only makes craft beer, but also malts locally-sourced grains in-house. The brewery has a 20-barrel brewing system, a 2,000-square-foot taproom with about 150 seats, and a 1,200-square-foot patio area.

Drop-off:

We circle back to downtown Minneapolis. The drop-off point is same as the pick-up point, Grumpy’s parking lot. If you don’t want to go home just yet, make sure to stop by Grumpy’s or Day Block Brewing for even more delicious beer!

How much beer am I getting, again?

Our public tours are all-inclusive. You can get as much, or as little beer as your palate craves. Bonus: you can bring your own beer too! Because we support craft breweries, we insist you only bring craft beer on the bus. For example: Surly, Lagunitas, Lift Bridge = Good! Coors, Bud, Miller = Bad.

Cheers and have fun!
